Project Description: In 2006, a group of film students took on one of the most ambitious projects Chapman University has ever seen: a feature film. Despite great financial obstacles, inexperience and Chapman labeling the film, “too ambitious,” the team pressed on. Utilizing (then,) budding new digital and online technology, they documented the entire process, releasing it online in episodic podcasts. Their feature film 'Happy Holidays,' would go on to get distribution, turn a profit, screen in theaters across the country and launch the notable careers of Oscar winning composer Ludwig Göransson, editor Nate Orloff (Saturday Night), producer Ross Mathy (The White Lotus), director Sassy Mohen and more.
